Counterpoint refers to a composition method, in which two melodic voices both contribute to the melody as a whole. Counterpoint creates a dialogue between the voices, with each voice contributing something meaningful and important to the conversation!

We are big on adapting each lesson to each student’s individualized needs! The owner’s education in music therapy has contributed to the inclusive culture of Counterpoint. We believe everyone can learn music, regardless of age or ability, and we are committed to utilizing modern adaptive tools to create a positive and fun learning environment for everyone!
We give back!

We collaborate!
We are community-focused, and LOVE to collaborate with others to share music with the community! From playing at senior-living facilities, to bringing pre-school music classes to local schools and churches, we love seeing music in action. We believe in the power of music, and care about seeing the impact music can have on the lives around us.
We break barriers!
We never want to see those who want to learn music not be able to due to financial constraints or other blocks. So we partner with the Music Link Foundation to provide scholarships for lessons.
